The Seggr In Residence Program

The aim of the program is to create a talent pool of exceptional people, who can both add value to Seggr and collectively grow as our alumni. We have two synergistic streams to the program, creative and entrepreneur.

Creative in Residence

Our Creatives in Residence are chosen for their exceptional creative talent. Their portfolios exude their ability to tap the cultural zeitgeist. While in residence they provide input to client campaigns and product development. In return they are personally mentored by Seggr’s executives and receive a unique mix of personal branding and business acumen.

Entrepreneur in Residence

Our Entrepreneurs in Residence focus on developing a new venture while within the program. They also add value to client engagements and Seggr’s productisation efforts.

Seggr’s In Residence Program is structured in an open-ended way, with each member participating for as long as there is mutual value to be had.

EiRs would be expected to move on to their own venture, while CiRs will move to another highly visible creative role either within Seggr or externally within our network.

Creativity at its Core

It is worth noting that both these positions have a strong creative bent to them.  The program itself demands enormous concentration, dedication and discipline to learn and grow, find their own voice and build a constituency around their endeavors. Participants have had creative pave a path through their lives from the very beginning. Being creative is a calling, and every one of our current in residence participants and alumni exude total passion for it.

Applying for the Program

What do we look for when choosing possible entrants into the In Residence Program?

• We look for flexible thinking, ability to respond quickly while taking a long-term view and the ability to listen, and
• These qualities lead to trust, to mutually supportive creative thinking, and to goal setting which combines tactics and strategy within the same creative vision.

Globally, we only take on a select few individuals into the program each year.
